Have you been frustrated with the world? It’s easy to, every day, think of the world as the new normal. We all listen to the news, and we like to think things are either working well* or we collectively feel that we can’t cause change.

This is the story of one engineer who ended up in American politics trying to make a difference, the team we built, and the problems we worked on. But, this is part of a bigger narrative of how we all – the engineers, the product managers, and the designers – need to figure out ways to frame problems so that we can jump into the fray and make a difference.

Raffi Krikorian has battle scars from building one the largest technical teams in Democratic politics to change the course of electioneering after 2016. We all need and can find problems and start to chip away at them.
