Courtney Johnston is the Chief Executive of Te Papa. Previously the director of The Dowse Art Museum, Courtney is a regular speaker and writer on museums and the visual arts, with a decade’s experience working with Radio New Zealand and other online and print publications. She has just finished her four year term on the Museums Aotearoa board, including the past 18 months as chair, and is chair of online culture publication The Pantograph Punch.
