Scenes from Webstock past
With the help of our friends at the National Library, we’ve dug through the archives and put together a retrospective of Webstock photos. For those new to Webstock, we hope it will give an idea of what to expect, what to wear and how to behave.
Enjoy! And all photos copyright of the Alexander Turnbull Library.

Special thanks to the National Library Twitter Team.
Has the National Library got this incredible picture? Now that was a Webstock I’ll never forget!

Sadly, no! Care to donate a copy?????
But no “Morning after Webstock” photo? Or perhaps it’s best that we don’t see photographic evidence of that. I remember my gran telling me about the mounted policemen who had to come to Webstock ’37 after the attendees wouldn’t turn down the gramophone.
And who can forget Martin Luther King Jr.’s electrifying “I have a dream” speech at Webstock ’63!
